Open Source RVA presents:

On today’s edition of Richmond’s audio news digest, we continue our series of one-on-one interviews with Richmond-area political candidates. We talk with fourth district city council hopeful Kristen Larson (pictured) about how her stint on Richmond’s school board has helped to prepare her for a seat on council. And we also welcome 7th district school board candidate Kirsten Gray as she talks about how basic things — such as hiring and retaining teachers — needs to come before big shiny projects. We also present another thrill-packed installment of Curtain Call, the biweekly segment on Richmond’s thriving theater scene produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This week, the critics will review “John,” the Cadence Theatre production now running at Virginia Rep, and interview Keri Wormald, the director of TheatreLab’s production of “Mother Courage.” Listen in at 2PM to Open Source RVA on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://www.wrir.org.
