Open Source RVA presents:

On Friday’s “welcome to 2017” edition of Open Source RVA, our own Kate Andrews speaks with Richmond magazine editor Samantha Willis about the magazine’s upcoming community forum, The Unmasking: Race & Reality in Richmond (Part 2), which happens Jan. 12 at Dogtown Dance Theater. RVA Dirt’s Melissa Vaughn and Jessee Perry also drop by to premiere their new regular segment about the comings and goings of Richmond’s new City Council. They talk about the drama surrounding Monday’s opening council session. And Open Source RVA presents another dramatic installment of Curtain Call, produced by the Richmond Theatre Critics Circle. This time, learn all about the citywide Acts of Faith Festival of religious-themed plays. The Source is strong in this one! Listen 2PM Friday on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://www.wrir.org. And what have you missed? Check out past episodes of Richmond’s audio news digest at https://soundcloud.com/user-314182877/tracks
