The Church of the Ecstatic presents:
Jaki Liebezeit
Tonight, we honor Jaki Liebezeit, drummer of Can, who passed away February 22, 2017. Expect Can songs. This show also features a reading of Cormac McCarthy’s “Blood Meridian”; Dick Fred in the middle of an Ayahuasca bender, if there is such a thing; the final shootout of Sam Peckinpah’s “The Wild Bunch”; and a clip from the 1977 Japanese horror film, “Hausu.”
Not all the songs in the playlist are played in their entirety or in there original form. I’m still getting a hang of the timestamps, so they’re not entirely accurate, either.
