Open Source RVA presents:

OPEN SOURCE GETS BUZZED On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, the show’s Open Face food & drink correspondent Piet E Jones talks all things java with Lamplighter Coffee Roasters’ own Jennifer Rawlings. What kind of coffee do Richmonders crave? Jen spills her secrets. Host Don Harrison also talks about recent developments surrounding the renovation of Monroe Park with newly-installed Monroe Park Conservancy member, city councilwoman Kimberly Gray, and Todd Woodson of the former Monroe Park Advisory Council. In the wake of a planning meeting where the project’s wanton tree removal was criticized, Woodson is calling for the city to separate itself from the public/private conservancy. And the Source’s intrepid news correspondent Montrece Hill also provides another overview of interesting bills being considered, passed and killed in the Virginia General Assembly. Get yourself Sourced with Richmond’s audio news digest, today at 2PM on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://www.wrir.org. (Photo: Lamplighter)
