Open Source RVA presents:

THE SOURCE IS STRONG IN THIS ONE! On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, we talk with some of the ladies getting up in GOP Rep. Dave Brat’s “grill.” Maureen Hains, Alycia Comer Wright, AlsĂșin Creighton Preis and Suja Amir of the 7th District Town Hall Meeting Facebook page — which has become a gathering place for Brat’s constituent critics — join us to speak about the congressman’s contentious Blackstone event this past week, and the growing pushback against Trump administration policies occurring in town hall meetings nationwide. We also welcome Heather Waters, the founder and director of The Richmond International Film Festival, which opens on Monday and runs through March 5th. The expanded festival will screen more than 150 films from 35 countries, and feature a wealth of satellite musical and cultural events in venues across the city next week. Also: Open Source RVA’s news correspondent Montrece Hill returns with her final overview of bills passed, debated and veto-d in the Virginia General Assembly. Seriously, is it TOO much Source? Decide for yourself at 2PM on WRIR 97.3 FM and http://www.wrir.org.
