On today’s special installment of Open Source RVA, we are proud to present the conclusion of an original audio documentary, “Life and How to Live It: A Documentary About Carol Taylor Pt. 2,” by producer Jon Harper. This WRIR original production is all about the life and career of a legendary female disc jockey who is still inspiring people two decades after her untimely death — it’s a story that has great personal and professional resonance for those of us at the station. Don’t miss it. And we also take a look at the Where Radio is Real initiative, featuring the production and voices of the young female students participating in the Makespace program administered by WRIR and the Visual Arts Center, and funded through a collaborative grant from the American Association of University Women.
