People experiencing homelessness face challenges when trying to access health care. In addition, sometimes health care costs are what leads to homelessness. From chronic care, mental health, substance abuse, health care is sometimes the key to overcoming homelessness. The Daily Planet was originally established to serve this population, but as the need for affordable health care is growing, more and more working poor are using this health care center for their medical home.
