Wagner’s Ring, continued…Die Walküre (The Valkyrie)

Part Two of Wagner’s four-part epic, ‘Der Ring Des Nibelungen’, is Die Walküre (The Valkyrie). Everyone knows “The Ride Of The Valkyries”, but that is only the beginning of the third act. Tonight we listen to part of the first act, and other operatic masterpieces  by Richard Wagner [1813-1883].
