Gov. Ralph Northam announced Tuesday that he’s making Juneteenth — a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the U.S. — an official holiday in our state of VA. Juneteenth falls on June 19th. but I’m so happy about the decision that I’m going to celebrate a day early!
