Open Source RVA presents:
DEDICATED TO THE SOURCE I LOVE! On Friday’s full-throated, sunshine poppy edition of Open Source RVA, we do a little “California dreaming” with Richard Campbell (Rich C. Bart), the author of the new book, “Gettin’ Kinda Itchie: The Bands That Made the Mamas and the Papas.” Campbell, a Richmond circuit court judge, has become the archivist-historian for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame group who became hippie icons of the 1960s. Among other things, Campbell’s book shows how the folk rock pioneering roots of the The Mamas and the Papas weren’t on the West Coast, but in Virginia. AND LOOK OUT FOR JEWISH SPACE LASERS! The Source’s special correspondent Goad Gatsby is back with an EXPLOSIVE breaking report — direct from FOX News — that he, yes, he, Goad Gatsby, is Richmond’s KING OF ANTIFA! Shocking! It’s all about harmony and disharmony on the Source, Friday at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org. (- w/ Krysti Albus, Chuck Moore & Dina Weinstein)
