Open Source RVA presents:

YOUR SOURCE FOR THE FESTIVAL! On Friday’s FOLK-TASTIC edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org, we explore the Richmond Folk Festival, starting Friday and running through Sunday along the Richmond waterfront. Joining me will be festival programmers from the National Council for the Traditional Arts (NCTA), Blaine Waide and Becky Hill, as well as my fellow members of the Festival‘s local programming committee – Tim Timberlake, radio legend and director of JAMinc, Charles Graybeard Williams, co-host of WRIR’s “Motherland Influence” and “The Other Black Music,” and Todd Ranson, promoter and host of WDCE’s “The Loblolly Pine Show.” What to do, hear, see, and dance to at this year’s epic (free) folk fest? GET KNOWLEDGE! Friday at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org. (-w/ Krysti Albus, Dina Weinstein & Chuck Moore)
