Breakfast Blend w/ Anna C. [Aug 30]

On this past Sunday, I saw Melissa Etheridge open for the Indigo Girls at Wolf Trap. They played a lot of the hits, with a few new tunes and a deep cut or two. The crowd was very much into it, and the last few songs from the Indigo Girls were absolute sing-alongs, with them throwing verses to the crowd and such. Emily’s voice is going, so I’m not sure how much longer they can keep this up. They had Lucy Wainwright Roche with them to provide supporting vocals, which I’ve never seen them do. Anyway, it inspired me to play some of my favorites, several of which I got to hear at the concert.
