The inspiration for the selection came when I woke up a few weeks ago with Vertical Horizon’s Everything You Want stuck in my head. When my family moved to the USA in 1999, I wasn’t allowed to watch television, so the radio became the only way for me to access American culture. Today’s episode features songs that instantly transport me back to that time. We’ll be bouncing back and forth between the late 80s to 2002, focusing on Grunge, Alternative, IndieRock, Dad Rock…basically classic Y2K karaoke bangers. Hope it helps you get through this gray September day!
