Banji Kaicho presents:
Spending most of my time traveling this month, I’ve been reflecting once again on the semiotics of ‘vehicles,’ both literal and metaphorical. In Shinji Aoyama’s Kitakyushu Trilogy, a motorcycle symbolizes escape, a bus becomes a vessel of impact and redemption, and a transportation company intertwines the destinies of its passengers. I sought to recreate this sense of drifting, both on the road and in the air, with this very special mix that I want to bring back today to honor a singular director and a cinematic experience I hold dear. 073->198. 1pm @wrir973 and wrir.org 🎞️🚏
