Feeling extra calm today as we kick off Banji Kaicho’s artist spotlight series this year with the Japanese environmental music duo and pioneers, Inoyama Land!

The beautiful collaboration between former Hikashu pair Makoto Inoue and Yasushi Yamashita has created a world of imaginative and ingenuous soundscapes. Their 1983 album ダンジンダン・ポジドン (Danzindan-Pojidon) is now a quintessential piece of Kankyo Ongaku and 80s Japanese music, while this show also explores deep into rest of their category, and the result might surprise you.
