Finding Sounds / Outer Focus presents:
Welcome to episode one of Outer Focus with agnimaus: a freeform show, exploring music through the eyes of meditation, experimentation, time and travel.
Inspired by the 5th element in the yoga vedas: space. What that means is, with Outer Focus, I will try to bring you audio art and other sounds that focus on pushing the physicality of music.
I recommended that you listen to today’s episode via the website stream with noise cancelling headphones on. Please note the sounds of this episode may challenge your hearing or make you feel uncomfortable. This is natural. Try to breathe through it, and examine the feelings these sounds bring up in you.
The collection I am playing for you today was compiled in the interest of inspiring relaxation and meditation. If any songs in this set inspire discomfort, try to visualize these feelings. Where do they lead? Where do they come from?
Try reciting one (or all) of the following affirmations to yourself out loud.
“I embrace uncertainty as a space for growth.”
“I am allowed to change my mind.”
“I create space for joy, even in small moments.”
