Kaleidoscopic Soul / Kristin Star presents:

Hello,

Thanks for tuning in tonight. I am playing a Neo-Soul mix for you all tonight. You will hear Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, D’ Angelo, and India Arie. These artists are all pioneers in the Neo-Soul movement. The songs they have made are classics and should be held to that regard. The music videos and the radio play are all a part of my memories with these artists. I wanted to pay homage to Roberta Flack who recently passed away. The Fugees remade her song Killing me Softly and it was a classic both times. Neo-Soul is a genre of music that combines R&B, soul, and other genres like jazz, hip-hop, and funk. This genre of music is a blend of music  that I love to play and I hope you enjoy it too! ~1 Love.
