In late 1978, radio DJ Steve Dahl was fired from his rock n roll station as the station switched over to play disco music full time. Dahl considered it his new life’s mission to bring down the genre, and he and his new anti-disco followers were “dedicated to the eradication of the dreaded musical disease known as DISCO.” I’m here to let Steve Dahl know he was wrong.
