End Of The Century presents:
With St. Patrick’s Day nearly upon us, and all of the festivities this weekend, today’s episode of End of the Century (hosted by Dr. Jay) focuses on Irish Music from the years 1975-1999 to get everyone in the mood for shenanigans!
We’ve got classic tunes from the Irish legends like The Dubliners, The Clancy Brothers and The Chieftains.
We’ve got newer tunes from The Pogues, The Waterboys, The Corrs and Enya. Sinead O’Connor and Van Morrison show up too.
There’s music from Irish bands that don’t sound like “Irish music”, including The Undertones, U2 and The Cranberries.
There’s “Irish music” from bands that aren’t from Ireland including Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, The Irish Descendants, Young Dubliners and The Tossers.
Get your green on and get ready for some foot-stomping sing-along music from the End of the Century – Sláinte!
