Alternative Milestones presents:

First of all, happy Spring!  Thanks for nuthin’, groundhog…

As for today’s episode of Alternative Milestones, there are 4 different days in Alternative Music history that make up a big chunk of the playlist.  Each one will get its own block.

I’ve got 2 in Memoriam milestones this week, from Big Star and Mother Love Bone.  Birthdays we’ll talk about include The Call, Hozier, and one of the most prolific producers in history – Steve Lillywhite.

And one of the joys of this research is finding “new to me” music, and I’ve got milestones for 2 such bands today – The Blue Aeroplanes and Broadcast

It’s a full day for sure!
