Curved Air presents:
Richard Wagner (1813-`1883) If you do not love his music already, then here is a good place to start. Tonight we listen to old, live excerpts from Wagner’s Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Tristan und Isolde,Die Walküre, and Parsifal. These include performances from Wagner’s own Bayreuth Festspielhaus. Here are two hours of historic lo-fi mono and hi-fi stereo recordings. Wagner is his own musical world.
