Listeners Pay It Forward with Underwriting for Nonprofits
WRIR 97.3 FM Richmond Independent Radio, like most public radio stations, raises the majority of the funding we need for our national and locally-produced programs during our on-air fund drives. As a thank you to our most generous donors, we have an unique premium that benefits not just WRIR but other nonprofits. Your gift of $65 a month (or $365 one time) will benefit a local nonprofit who you believe is doing good things for Richmond. WRIR will grant your chosen nonprofit organization a robust schedule of underwriting announcements, all read on air. This gives the nonprofit much-needed exposure — especially organizations that may not yet have money in their budget to purchase underwriting (though our rates are very affordable.)
