1. I can’t hear INXS anymore without thinking “auto-erotic asphyxiation”!
2. the mashup of Kinks and INXS at the beginning of the show was confusing, I suspect you forgot to turn off the Kinks before cueing up “Bitter Tears”!
3. I knew someone who pronounced INXS as “in exes”!
4.my band name FLEX also came from graffitti scratched into concrete around 1982!
5. my fave INXS tune of all time is “It’s the one thing”, incredible video from when MTV mattered! 6. am I the only one hearing the riff borrowed from some other song on “Paranoia”?
rock on bird dude!
You have to be completely tone deaf and moronic to disregard Fight the Power by Public Enemy from their album FEAR OF A BLACK PLANET by saying “it’s culturally important I guess…”
Thanks for the Only Ones today. When I saw Gang War at Max’s, Peter came on to sing a couple. That guy had to of only weighed 50 pounds.
I just wanted to let you guys know how much i enjoyed the show today!!! I listened on my way to work, and it totally made the commute enjoyable. Sonic Youth, Lou Reed, Chohen, Cramps, Fugazi- I MEAN COME ON!!
So tight!
