Fervid proudly present Poison Eyes, their new single, released by JVGM. The band are clearly enjoying themselves on this recording; the song has a great guitar hook, a rocking verse and a big, tasty chorus. The band have succeeded at successfully combining great melodies and harmonic vocals with a slightly gritty rock production. This new single sounds like the best of the nineties, combined with the best of the sixties, steering away from the slick, modern take on rock
Fervid is an alternative poprock band that was formed in the summer of 1994 by long time friends Otto van Gemert (lead vocals and guitar), Pascal Dérogée (vocals and bass guitar) and Casper Rosenquist (vocals and drums). Heavily influenced by bands like Nirvana, The Beatles, Queen, The Smiths, Weezer and Bad Religion, the band started writing their own material with perpetual enthusiasm. A small selection of these songs has been released by record labels like Fount Records (The Question is No, 1999) Blue Smile Recordings (Little Massacre, 2003), AG Music (Oh!, 2010) and finally JVGM (How?, 2013). Not very keen on doing promotional work or playing shows endlessly, the band have remained largely under the international radar for more than two decades now. They are currently working on new material with a second guitarist, Pascal’s brother Gedeon Dérogée
