Novel Film airs 1st and 2nd Fridays at noon and is hosted by Bridé Baker and Moyna Soderstrand.

Bridé Baker is an experienced editor in the indie and traditional publishing industry. She is a published writer, editor, and co-host of the podcast, Novel/Film – a monthly conversation focusing on the adaption of published works to film or television. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2016 with a B.A. in English and a minor in Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. In 2020, she spent a year at Gladiator Publishing House in Copenhagen, Denmark, completing her professional editorial certification.

Moyna Soderstrand is a Copenhagen-based screenwriter and story consultant with a BA in Screenwriting from The Norwegian Film School and a decade of experience across film and theater. Her career includes working in the writers’ room for the Danish historical drama The New Nurses and both writing and directing her short film, Live Laugh Larp. Currently, Moyna serves as a screenwriting consultant on multiple short film projects, contributing her expertise in story development and script editing. She is also developing The Seasons: A Bloody Musical, a podcast adaptation of the 2023 stage production she co-wrote.

Sean is an archivist and film enthusiast with a focus on physical media and media preservation. He does research and work on the Internet Archive.

    Enjoyed your podcast and all the laughter! Taking an animated film/book and treating it to critical analysis doesn’t have to be boring, ponderous or too serious. Looking forward to the next podcast.
