There are couple of cool shows happening in the next couple of weeks…The Gathering Gloom will be bringing you a tribute to The Cure on Friday at The Tin Pan, and then Megatronix will be bringing their awesome brand of retrowave to Fallout on Sunday! I have tracks from The Cure and Megatronix to get you psyched for both of these shows!

For most of the first hour of tonight’s show we will talk about four really awesome shows happening in the next couple of weeks…tomorrow night at Fallout, Pain Generator, Livernois, and Wertlos will be performing; on Saturday at Fallout, Lathe Of Heaven, True Body, and Blue Spring will be playing; then on Friday, March 21st, at Fallout catch Hide doing a show; and then two weeks from tonight on Tuesday, March 25th, at Cobra Cabana, Quest Master, Fief, and Vaelastrasz will playing! Yes, I have music from all these great artists for you tonight!

My apologies for not bringing you a new episode of Dog Germs two weeks ago. My voice still sounds a bit funny, but I will be in the studio bring you some canine germs tonight!

Plus, I will be giving away a pair of tickets for you to see Alcest, MONO, and Kaelen Mikla play at The National on Saturday, February 22nd! Listen as a play you some tracks from these great bands and don’t miss your chance to win tickets!

A couple of other really cool shows happening here in Richmond in the next two weeks include Psyclon Nine, VentanA, and Heathen Sun on Sunday, February 16th; and Severed Skies, Invictis, Acheleg, and Wertlos on Saturday, February 22nd, at Another Round Bar and Grill! Well, 2025 starts out on a down note…on Dog Germs tonight we start out by paying tribute to a founding member of Chemlab…Dylan Thomas More who just passed away on January 4th…RIP.

A couple of really cool tribute shows happening in the next couple of weeks…Girlfriend In A Coma (A Tribute to Morrissey and The Smiths) will be at the Canal Club on Saturday, and then next Saturday, the 25th, Totally Bowie: A Tribute To David Bowie will be at the same venue. So yes, I’ll be playing you some Smiths and Bowie tonight!

And then the rest of the show will be filled with new music…so much that we likely will not get through it all!

As promised, I will be doing a Christmas theme for tonight’s show…mostly. We’ll start off the night with a tribute to Ruth McArdle, aka Lady Galore, aka Cherrie Blue, who recently passed away. If you’ve ever heard the Lords Of Acid album Voodoo-U, then you’ve heard her sing. She was also a solo artist and also a member of the Thrill Kill Kult‘s Bomb Gang Girlz at one point.
