There are some really cool shows coming up in the next two weeks! On Monday, October 7th, Ultra Sunn will be playing at Fallout; then the very next day, Male Tears will be playing Fallout; then on Friday, October 11th, at Fallout catch Critt_r, Myla, Hunting Dog, Obsidian, and Prude performing; and finally on Sunday, October 13, Aurelio Voltaire returns to Fallout with Mr. Fang & The Dark Tones opening the show! Episode 36 of Finding Sounds featuring Richmond artist Sealights. For the first 45 min, I played a mix of new music. This includes new releases from labels like club late music, inner most, changeless, and myxoxym which put out the Plasmodium 2 compilation.

Today I’m playing a selection of Australian jazz, funk, soul and dance music. The country’s been in the spotlight for the past few weeks and I wanted to redeem them in a way… Since Hiatus Kaiyote hit the scene I’ve been hooked at artists in that orbit. A lot of these tracks are Hiatus Kaiyote or 30/70 Collective adjacent. Some are by artists who may no longer live in Australia but grew up there, or grew up elsewhere and now call it home.
