End Of The Century presents:

Fake Can Be Just as Good by Blonde Redhead
LJ hosts End of the Century! He has now reached to 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟳 in his sloth-with-low-blood-sugar paced survey of the years covered by this show.
What was going on in ’97?
In mainstream pop, it looks like Backstreet Boys and The Spice Girls were ruling the roost.
Elton John performed “Candle in the Wind” at Princess Di’s funeral.
But this show will focus on albums, GOOD albums:
• Daft Punk caused a seismic shift in music with their debut album, “Homework.”
• Radiohead released “OK Computer.”
• We reached the apex of Aphex Twin’s reign of terror with both the Richard D. James Album and the Come To Daddy E.P.
• David Byrne released his best solo album, “Feelings.”
• Arto Lindsay contains multitudes, and “Noon Chill” makes sure that you know this.
• Erykah Badu. Erykah Badu. Erykah Badu. Baduizm.
• Smog just wanted to “Be Of Use” (though this song is important to me, I’m pretty sure I can’t play it… or can I??)
And really so so so much more!

Friday Clock Out presents:

Bunny

There’s a little man in a little house
With a little pet dog and a little pet [bunny]
I know where he lives and I visit him
We have Sunday tea, sausages and beans
I know where he lives
‘Cause I know where [Dear Matthew] lives
He was very famous once upon a time
But no one knows even if he’s alive
But I know where he lives and I visit him
In a little hut in [Texas, I think]
I know where he lives
‘Cause I know where [Dear Matthew] lives
And the trees and the flowers are so pretty, aren’t they?
He was very famous once upon a time
And no one cares even if he’s alive (we do)
But I know where he lives and I visit him
In a little hut by the edge of the wood
