Just wanted to say thank you to all the hard-working volunteers at WRIR that make this station possible, and for throwing a huge party on Friday. It was great to see a bunch of folks I don’t see often, and simultaneously awesome/embarrassing to be given the Volunteer of the Year award. I spent the rest of the weekend getting caught up on the kind of stuff that earned me the recognition — persnickety librarian metadata cleanup and organization of the new digital albums sent to the station. This also means I have new tunes to share with you this morning!
