SURELOCK (Random Factor, Montreal CA / Bristol UK ) Surelock originally hails from Canada, living between the border of Detroit all the way to Montreal for most of his life. His sound is heavily influenced by Detroit techno, New York hip hop, and East Coast’s 90’s house music. Surelock’s love affair with drum and bass blossomed in the early 2000’s when the “Liquid Funk” movement began rising in the UK. A sound pioneered by artists like Fabio and Calibre. You’ll find almost all of his mixes have an eclectic fusion of soulful, melodic, techy and gritty elements in them. With the world changing the way it did in 2020, he took the opportunity to move abroad and currently resides in Bristol in western England.
