Cause and Effect presents:
LJ’s subject for today: Welsh viola player John Cale! You know, the John Cale that produced the first Stooges album. The same John Cale that produced Patti Smith’s _Horses_. The same John Cale that wrote “Close Watch”. Oh, and he was in The Velvet Underground, if that’s important at all.

End Of The Century presents:
When I hosted End of the Century four weeks ago, I focused on 1975 to 1981. I’m picking up with 1981 and 1982 for this show. I’m also slowing my roll a little; trying to choose a few songs from each year between 1975 and 1980 proved to be too ambitious. So, I’m just looking at two years, and maybe dipping my toe into 1983.
