InterTribal presents:
Good morning and welcome to your weekend.
This Saturday is the last one we have in November. Thanksgiving has been honored and many people went out bargain hunting yesterday.
The music selected to day brings a mix of fun, somber, and holiday cheer. Now that the threshold for holiday music has been crossed, playing as much or as little holiday music is fair game.
This past week Joanne Shenandoah left this world and joined the ancestors. While many of us are mourning Joanne’s death I wanted to begin to plan a tribute show soon. So stay posted for the details soon.
Today there won’t be an official This Week in Indian Country. Instead I hope the music will speak for itself as a reflection of the history on this land.
Blessings to each and everyone of you.

InterTribal presents:
Good morning and welcome to your weekend!
Now that the temperatures have fallen below freezing, I think it is time to invite your to gather round the community fire. This is the weekend before Thanksgiving. I understand there is much happening to prepare and many will soon begin their travels or your guest’s arrival is expected soon.
My hope is the selected music will help you start your day with a smile on your face. So, grab that cup of tea, coffee, or hot chocolate, get your muffins in the oven and the eggs in the frying pan as the music provides the mood of your morning.
Today News and Information is listed below.

InterTribal presents:
Good morning and welcome to your weekend.
This past week we celebrated Veteran’s Day. A time to recognize all the brave men, women, and the families who served this nation.
Today’s show was created with this celebration in mind. Not so much the selection of music with warrior or veteran in the lyrics or titles, but rather, blending the selection of music in such a way that one may find it enjoyable and entertaining. You may discover some new to me musical artist with many having just released new music.
This Week in Indian Country will not be included in this episode of InterTribal. Family issues as well as animal issues made it very challenging to create the show.
I do want to add that movement is being made to add Jess to the show as a co-host and co-producer. So there is much to look forward to in 2022.

InterTribal presents:
Good morning and welcome to your weekend!
This is the first Saturday of November and the chilly weather has arrived. Time to strike the fire and warm up the community fire circle. I also want to share with you that November is Native American Heritage Month.
Today I will play the final segment of the Felipe Rose interview. This has been a very surreal time for me. I keep thinking about when I was in high school dancing to disco and enjoying the music of The Village People. Felipe Rose is an Icon in the music industry.
Remember, tonight is when we turn our clocks back one hour.

Good morning and welcome to your weekend!
The last Saturday in October has finally arrived and with it, All Hallows Eve. Today’s show was created with this in mind. The music, though not Halloween specific, is focused on the spirits, ancestors, and remembering our loved ones who have journeyed on ahead of us.
In today’s fourth segment of my interview with Felipe, we learn about what he has been doing during Covid-19 lockdown. Felipe created a Podcast called; Disco Chronicles. This podcast can be found on YouTube and is filled with talented people who played various roles in the era of Disco. Click the link below for to explore the channel for yourself.

Today I also announce some exciting news regarding the direction of this radio show.
Thank you for all the love and support you provided during WRIR’s Fall Fund Drive. Remember it is not too late to donate.

InterTribal presents:
Good morning and welcome to your weekend!
This week’s audio production was high paced, stressed, while also very exciting. Fund Drive time is always very active and requires many of our volunteers to get involved. The same is true even during a pandemic.
Those of us who preproduce our shows need to curate them with positive and upbeat tempos. This Fun-drive I have a very special guest who, through the magic of technology, will join me prerecorded on the October 23, 2021 show. This special guest is revealed during today’s show.
This Week in Indian Country provides two stories sourced from Indian Country Today. This weeks segment introduces you Ashley Callingbull and Meghan Sullivan. Both are interviewed by Mark Trahant.
Be sure to plan for donating during InterTribal. I will have some extra treats for you when you do.
Have a wonderful weekend.

InterTribal presents:
Good morning, Welcome to your weekend!
Happy Autumn! When autumn arrived at 3:20 pm we were experiencing grey skies and rain. I was hoping to have a fire outside to welcome in the new season, however, that was not meant to be. Since the rain nocked out my plans for an easy evening by my firepit, I decided to continue researching and working on this show.
The music I selected for today’s show is a mix of oldies as well as some fresh sound of new releases.
You can hear This Week in Indian Country airs during the 7 o’clock hour. The two topics covered in this segment are:
Little Dove’s graveside funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, September 25th at 12 noon.
