Time is an illusion. I think? So when we say “All these tracks, all by Richmond artists, were released no earlier than two weeks prior to today’s show, on December 10th, 2022,” what does that mean?

PS. The tracks from Childz were released in 2020, but bandcamp said 2022. Neither of those are the real release date because time isn’t real.

It’s great to be back! I’ve definitely phoned it in more times than I can count this past summer with my series at WRIR. I want to thank all of the listeners and supporters for bearing with me while I played rerun after rerun of previous episodes. Things don’t always go as planned, so thank you also to the program organizers at the station as well for their patience and understanding. With this return-to-air episode I enlisted the musings of Aia. We talked a lot about her recent drops with her ”
Scat Packs”, the current state of R&B and Soul, as well as her up bringing musically and her education as a Jazz musician at Howard University. Along with a few choice drops from her, I decided to make this episode purely about dance and electronic music.
