The British Breakfast presents:
Put this in perspective: 2010 was 13 years ago. In 1976, an oldies station would def feature oldies from 1963. DAMN! ARE WE ALL AI? What is happening with this time thing?
I want what’s in this picture real bad. I mean BAD. Cheers Gene

End Of The Century presents:
I don’t do anything in order to cause trouble. It just so happens that what I do naturally causes trouble. I’m proud to be a troublemaker. –Sinead O’Connor
Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor; (8 December 1966 – 26 July 2023 aged 56), was an Irish singer-songwriter, artist-musician and political activist. O’Connor released 10 studio albums throughout her career. Her debut studio album, The Lion and the Cobra, was released in 1987 and charted internationally. It was considered “one of the most striking debuts of its era, synthesizing everything from rock to hip-hop to the global music-influenced atmospherics of Peter Gabriel into a style that was entirely her own.” Her second studio album, I Do Not Want What I Haven’t Got (1990), became her biggest success, selling over seven million copies worldwide. Its lead single, “Nothing Compares 2 U”, was named the number-one world single in 1990 by the Billboard Music Awards. Although she was at times often steeped in controversy, it “never drowned out her astonishing songcraft…As well as being a fearless interpreter of others’ work, the late singer adapted to a seemingly endless array of styles, marking her out as a bold and utterly singular artist.” –Alex Petridis

For a period that lasted between say 1989-2005, I bought tons of Compact Discs. I’ve turned my back on them long enough. The def focus on my choices is the early 90’s. I think there are a few Regs yearning for the 90’s. Gene and Carmen next week, Cheers, Gene
