We’ve all been stung by a Scorpio at some point in our lives–even Scorpios themselves have a penchant for self-destruction. They’re incredibly complex and difficult to truly know because their nature drives them to obscure their vulnerabilities and feel at home in the shadows. While it’s true Scorpios have redeeming qualities like loyalty, honesty, passion, and the ability to look really cool in a leather jacket–it’s their darkness that produces classic fodder for songs. Character flaws like secrecy, jealousy, manipulation, and revenge are awful experience but a lot of fun to sing about. So draw the curtains and locate your anti-venom of choice for an intense two hours of psychological warfare . Everything looks black in the dark.

It’s great to be back! I’ve definitely phoned it in more times than I can count this past summer with my series at WRIR. I want to thank all of the listeners and supporters for bearing with me while I played rerun after rerun of previous episodes. Things don’t always go as planned, so thank you also to the program organizers at the station as well for their patience and understanding. With this return-to-air episode I enlisted the musings of Aia. We talked a lot about her recent drops with her ”
Scat Packs”, the current state of R&B and Soul, as well as her up bringing musically and her education as a Jazz musician at Howard University. Along with a few choice drops from her, I decided to make this episode purely about dance and electronic music. Something about the current state of the world made me want to do an episode of nothing but dance music to try and pump some carefreeness into your Monday afternoon. Peace & Love always!
