Tuesday Breakfast Blend presents:
February is National Weddings Month and An Affair To Remember Month. In this 28 days, we will celebrate Valentine’s Day (14), Make A Friend Day (11), Random Acts of Kindness Day (17), and Love Your Pet Day (20). It is a month full of love. And so we are going to talk about all kinds of love! Four kinds actually.
We are starting off with PHILAUTIA. This is self-love. This can be positive or negative. Negative self-love is gonna be your general selfishness. Being self-absorbed, craving nothing but fame, beauty, and wealth for yourself. But, positive self-love… mmm, that’s the stuff. Learning to love yourself is a process. It’s so much more than bubble baths and walks in the woods. It is reaching down into the deepest depths of yourself, realizing your own trauma, toxicity, strengths, and potential. It is letting yourself heal and long term maintenance of your flesh vessel. It’s is putting yourself first and taking care of number one, because babe, you deserve it.
So! Let’s work on this. Let’s all learn to love ourselves. You gotta nourish to flourish!
