Deutscher Jam presents:
Hallo alle zusammen habt ihr mich vermisst đ Also packt euren Koffer und kommt mit, wir fliegen nach Venus! Did you miss me? Re Imagine yourself at the Frankfurter Flughafen, you just checked your bags (Koffer), and are relaxing at the Gate getting ready to board Deutscher Jam. Reminder: I don’t know what you want but i’m going to give you what you need. Ich weiss nicht was ihr wollt aber ich gib euch was ihr braucht. I’m your Captain, Janell, and today’s show is going to transport us to the planet Venus. Today is going to be all about the ladies as KeKe states in her song Fugazi, Hautfarbe Energie (Skin color: Energy) so I hope you feel the vibrations these women are bringing through the radio waves. We are going to be starting with Eunique, one of my favorite artists from the Hansestadt meaning Hamburg. Konig Kobra(Queen Kobra) or as her fans say, the gefahrliche kikikiki Kobra, is a young German Artist from the city of Hamburg bringing modern German realness. I find Eunique to be an inspiration and motivation because she shows through her road to success that with hard work, dedication, and patience your dreams can become a reality. She is the Queen Kobra and created a Kobra Militar full of women who serve the purpose of pushing and empowering one another in their journey to success. It is very clear that Eunique strives for female empowerment and her motivation is towards growth for not only herself but also for her Kobras. Now, that is the energy we need as soon as Deutscher Jam lands. Feel the power behind the voices of these women. Again Deutscher Jam is here to strip all the stereotypes you may imagine when picturing Germany and get you a real look into the culture.
Touching back to 1989, if we look at the last 30 years and the evolution of a classic German Hip-Hop artist we see it has diversified into an entity of its own. The course of the past 30 years has moved quickly on a micro level, showcasing Germany’s ability to adapt to foreign resources and mold them into their own. There is so much unexplored in regards to German Hip-Hop today, this genre that was brought from across the Atlantic in the 1980s, and how it has pushed a youth movement to restore and rebrand the face of a nation. After the âWendeâ turning point, as Germans say, Deutschrap German rap had not had much air time. The Fantastischen Vier were commercially the 1st to receive public fame in Hip-Hop with their song âSie ist Wegâ which sparked a push on the charts. The girl group, Tic Tac Toe, with their song âIch find dich scheisseâ (I think youâre sh***y) was a statement to women that they should never, as a German says, put a âBlatt vorâm mundâ or censor yourself for society. The evolution of a German female artist has grown immensely addressing social issues, male toxicity, struggles for respected independence, involvement or representation in politics, und so weiter. These women have started a revolution against their established society, reshaping exactly what being a bad *** is. Post World War ll, Germans struggled with national identity and Hip-Hop created a platform for women, but more specifically it ignited a change and motivated a rebranding of their community. The current generation of women are reshaping everything about what being âMade in Germanyâ truly looks like! As the show takes off, enjoy the intergalactic vibrations and sounds this universe has to offer before we dive into what the show has to offer.
