Feminine Energy
Ladies! Where is the representation? Why is it that there are so man y dope female artists but not enough airplay? Why is it that on some Stations they only require a minimum of two female artists played? Lastly why on one of the largest independent Radios in Berlin RBB the Radio hosts only get the opportunity to showcase there favorites for 20% of the time? Point is we want answers and something needs to change! That’s why I am here as the first woman of color to have established a modern German Radio Show here in America. We all know Def Jam correct? Record labels used to be the gatekeepers of great music. Then that stopped and the flood gates opened to anyone courageous enough to show cases there talent. Deutscher Jam is the gatekeeper of German music. Only the best of the best get airplay on this show. We see a lack of many minority groups in the spotlight but the biggest are women. “They” meaning the male dominated industry says the want less, but I say we want more. Women speak that truth! The LGBTQAI+ community speaks that truth! Deutscher Jam is opening the door tonight and is goi9ng to great you with nothing but feminine energy tonight. In pursuits to give women and the LGBTQIA+ community the recognition the deserve Deutscher Jam is the vehicle to amplifies these voices. The hoe_mies in Berlin addressed it first and I am right in line with them
