Activate! May 19 - May 26 w/ Tiny DJ and Julie Karr - 97.3 wrir

When WRIR was in its infancy, our music/program director and de facto leader was The Tiny DJ. I pitched the idea of Activate! to her first and she not only gave me the green light, but was a huge supporter of my “vision.” Tiny also championed the eclectic music programming that you still hear today, including her own show Future Perfect. Tonight at 5pm, on my second to last Activate!, Tiny DJ will join me as co-host to wax nostalgic and talk live music. In addition, one of my favorite musical guests ever, Julie Karr, will bring her acoustic and play a few songs in support of the upcoming Richmond Reproductive Freedom Project Benefit Show!!! at Studio Two Three!
