Alternative Milestones presents:
As we approach Memorial Day weekend, I ask that people remember what it’s really about. While parades and picnics and big sales are nice, the day is about remembering and honoring those who died in service to our country. This isn’t a political statement in any way – they were people with lives, with friends and families, with stories. Please keep those veterans who did not make it home alive a little closer to your hearts on this day.
Remembering the history of Alternative Music, on the other hand, is something this show does every week! And this week we run the gamut, from some of the earliest Rock n Roll thru the 70s, 80s & 90s to the indie and electronica of today. And I’ve got a couple of ‘new to me’ artists in The Amazons and PRONOUN to share with you as well.
