Softlock presents:
Translation: phantoms.
Artwork by Hicaru Tanaka.
All ambient, jazz, and breaks from 1995 to 2010. This one’s less of a Saturday free-for-all and more morning meditation with the occasional jolt. Not everything transitions into the next well, but this one might be my favorite so far. It’s definitely a little change for the cerebral. Over here at Softlock we think change is good.
But, of course, there are samples: Tim Curry escaping to space, this Failed Experiment tag from Toonami in 1998, and the Serial Experiments Lain opening, as is the way it should be.
One error: I did not mention a song from NieR was played. A whole episode could be done about that series. One day. Perhaps.
Next week, a morning trip into horror.
Stay up.
