Open Source RVA presents:
WRITING AND RESOURCES! On Friday’s edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein welcomes Breanne Armbrust, executive director of the Neighborhood Resource Center of Greater Fulton. The center is partnering with RIP Medical Debt to cancel $3.4 million in debt for households in central and eastern VA. Armrest talks about that and also about the state of Fulton, and the resource center’s Works program. THEN Don Harrison speaks with Aerin Mills from Podium RVA, a non-profit that helps to tutor and encourage area students in the art and craft of writing. Podium is hosting a special virtual event on Feb. 23rd, A Very Scary February, which will feature a spooky flash fiction contest. BUT THAT”S NOT ALL! We also have the Source’s special state house correspondent Goad Gatsby filing a report from the just-winding-down General Assembly session (he survived!). GET THYSELF SOURCED Friday noon on WRIR 97.3 FM and wrir.org.
Playlist temporarily unavailable.
